Worked as a new construction code inspector for a municipality and eventually opened a private home inspection company. During this time I started volunteering with the area fire department. After two years of this I was hired as a professional fire fighter and opened a home repair / renovation company. After 13 years of working in these two fields I joined my wife, Melissa, in real estate. My name is Lucy Osundwa, I was born in Butere, Kenya. I arrived in the United States as an International Student twenty eight years ago and completed my studies in Occupational Therapy and Health Care Administration respectively. My life story is not much different from many other immigrants that have aspired to make a better life for themselves here in the United States. So I too, with the same legendary tenacity and hope after completing my education moved to Savannah Georgia and currently reside in Effingham County. Having always believed that there is no greater path to success than to serving my community, I started my first company Horizon Adult day health, providing compassionate adult daycare services and soon, as a natural extension of the adult daycare, I started a non-medical transportation company (Lucyanne Transport). To be active and chasing our dreams is my Motto and as I transitioned through the years building my two companies and raising my family, to my new found passion serving as a Real Estate Agent, many of the lessons learned have stayed the same. For any good thing to happen there needs to be a constant motivation to do . better. As we all know, success in our private and professional life begins with that most quintessential first step of owning our own home "The American Dream". The owning of your own property provides the necessary long term financial stability that is the foundation of the American Financial System, that provides the necessary building block for the personal success, professional success and chasing our dreams.
